A Message on Peace & Plenty
Hi love. I woke up this morning with a rich desire to relaunch my podcast. A podcast I had started in 2023 alongside thousands of other creative humans. Then life happened, and I didn’t get 100 million downloads immediately, and I thought, “This work doesn’t matter. Bye.”
So, when gently rising and returning to this endeavor, I found myself in an interesting position — recording a comeback episode, excited to share it, logging online to get back into my podcast sharing app, and troubleshooting for a good while, all to realize someone else launched a podcast with the exact name and, well, with a similar purpose.
Darn it!!!
Instead of collapse, I found myself in inquiry, realizing some very important truths:
Ideas are energy — they want to move. So if it’s not you, it will be someone else. So if you do want it to be you, don’t sit on it too long.
A block is a detour, not an ending — you can be on the path and not quite see what’s ahead, and sometimes a reroute is the exact thing your soul is craving.
Depth over distance, always — I want to build a life and a business that creates reverent value on the planet. I don’t want a quick fix to my problems because I know that isn’t what the world needs.
You can have both — you can be striving and gentle with yourself. You can want to create something meaningful and not rush the process. You can build trust in your body and expand your past limitations. You can be rich and generous and abundant and also do good on the planet.
Go your own way — I move through my spirals quite proficiently I have to say, so what went from inspiration, to action, to defeat, to reflection ended up with me going: you know what I will just do what I have been saying I wanted to do: keep all of my work housed within my own network.
So without further ado, episode 1 of the comeback series of my podcast / voice notes from my heart to yours, which is an intro piece to speak to what I will be sharing through my voice.
